If you are contemplating on getting MS Office Home andStudent 2010 and you do not know what’s inside the package, well I’ll tell you
what’s inside and why you should get one for your home.
First I’ll tell you what you can expect if you buy the
product. The first thing you will get is a nicely printed box that comes with
the installation CD, or if you bought online you’ll get a link where you can
download the product directly from the manufacturer.
Inside the package you will get Word 2010, Excel 2010,
PowerPoint 2010, and OneNote 2010. With Word you can write, edit and save your
documents, this is great for assignments and projects of the kids. With Excel
you can create professional looking spreadsheets about your business, or just
your everyday budget. With PowerPoint you can create great looking slideshows
for your school report or business presentation; this is a great tool for
presenting because it makes it livelier and less boring because of the images
you are going to use.
I also own MS Office 2010, and to tell you the truth I
prefer this than the newer versions like Windows 7 or 8. I have tried the newer
ones and I don’t find a lot of difference from my old and trusty 2010. In fact
I still prefer using the old interface because it is simpler and it does not
involve a lot of graphics like the Windows 8 have. Another great thing about it
is that it’s priced really really low, especially if you get the OEM version of
the product. OEM is basically the same original product; the only difference is
that it does not have the packaging.
I got my OEM version at Software Speedy where they sell
original and OEM versions of Office, Adobe, Intuit, and Kaspersky products.
